Unrepentant Nazis
in Post-War Germany

• Pathfinder Magazine, 1951 •

The PATHFINDER correspondent posted in Allied Occupied-Germany picked-up the same unsavory scent along the German/Danish border that other journalists throughout that country were discovering: Nazism wasn't dead and their ranks were slowly swelling. The report on the right told of the town of Flensburg and an old German Fascist named Herbert Muenchow who enjoyed charming the Flensburg youth by regaling them with tales of the good old days, when real men wore brown shirts. Muenchow was a follower of Wolfgang Hedler and his political party of 1950s German Fascists called Die Deutsche Reichspartei (the German Empire Party) - the symbol of this group is pictured above.
